Sean and Colbi : Mesa Arizona Wedding Photographer

It's always so fun to get to know a bride during the process of photographing their engagements, bridals and the big day. When you know the bride before-hand it makes it even more meaningful. I photographed the McGhan family several years ago, photographed Colbi's Senior photos in 2008 and now, HERE COMES THE BRIDE! These two know how to have FUN! They were married on October 23rd--congratulations you two!

Looking Ahead - AZ Portrait Photographer

It' always interesting to photograph people at significant points in their lives, whether it's expecting a new baby or celebrating a 60th Wedding Anniversary, milestones in our lives make the shoot that much more meaningful. J is a graduated high school in May (Go Toros!) and he leaves on his mission soon, so our photo shoot had a dual purpose. Capture the Senior AND get a shot for the upcoming mission needs--pretty straightforward. But I can't let it go at that because J has this really cool vibe to him that invites further inspection...

Bridal Shower a la Jaimee Rose & Co. : Mesa, AZ Photographer

Jaimee Rose threw the cutest Bridal shower for her dear friend recently and she hosted it next door at Domestic Bliss (located right across the hall from us in fab Downtown Mesa). During the shower, the girls all came over in various groups to get their photos taken. Some were reluctant models and others channelled their inner Tyra Banks admirably. It was a great time! The boys came at the end so we shot a couple of the happy couple. Congratulations you two!

Peace Out Sistah : AZ Child Photographer

So, besides boys, a favorite subject of mine is SISTERS. I have 3 amazing sisters that I could not survive life without. You might recognize this pair of sibs from my previous post with their cousins. These girls are taking no prisoners. They are strong athletes and have a strong sense of self. Power women in the making (if their mothers are any indication;)!

Life is Long...Take a Friend Along : Arizona Child Photographer

And what a great thing if that friend could be your brother? These two had great energy and confidence and, basically, knocked it out of the park. I could have shot them all day (and almost did!)

At the end of the shoot--their Auntie showed up to have their cousins photographed so we nabbed a few of them all together. You'll see more of these girls in a future post...for now, here's to friends and family.

FOTW - Group Shot

This is a group of savvy, motivated women who also happen to be photographers. What a privilege to meet you all and spend 2 days learning together.
