OK, more emails about music. The song that played in the slideshow at Creative Escape last Saturday was
Every Moment by Joy Williams. She's amazing--I should be her agent, I've told so many people about her--ha!
Then there's the music on my website by one of my favorite artistes of all time, Diana Krall. I have everything she's ever done. The song is, Your Getting to Be a Habit With Me from her album Love Scenes. Buy the whole album, there's not one bad song on it. In fact, one of my very favorites is Peel Me a Grape the lyrics to this song should be included in every prenup--they are a good insight into how a woman's mind works. Peel me a grape, crush me some ice. Skin me a peach, save the fuzz for my pillow.... Oh ya....Enjoy!
The poor Fed Ex guy---before he could even get to my front door yesterday I had it open and was accosting him for my new iPod! So, I bring it in and hook it up and I'm going through my playlists trying to decide which to load, which not to load. Then I think, "I wonder how much space my whole library takes up?" I look, and for everything currently loaded, it's only 25 GB. Shoot, that ain't nothin'. So I loaded it ALL UP baby!!! 135 GB to spare----hmmmmm, think I'll go shopping on iTunes today.....
Nothing says Birthday like a little lovin' from Apple!
I have had so many people who emailed me about the gorgeous music playing on Paula Wessels slide show so I'll just answer to everyone. The music is by Thomas Newman and is from the Meet Joe Black Soundtrack--you know--Brad Pitt as Death? Anyway, the song is titled, Whisper of a Thrill and it's the song that plays during the love scene. It's not available on iTunes--but amazon.com and Walmart have it---go buy it (the whole album is worth having--it also has the Wonderful World/Over The Rainbow arrangement by the Hawaiian singer IZ on it) and everything else Thomas Newman has ever written which includes the Soundtrack for:
Finding Nemo
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Little Women
and others....
