Engagement shoots are so much fun especially when the groom is really into it and, believe me, this groom was into it! I flew out to San Diego a few weeks ago and we shot for 3 hours in Old Town San Diego and on the Pier and in La Jolla--a great day although security at the airport was wondering why I was wet and covered in sand on my way home.....Congratulations to Rick and Emily!
You'd never know how romantic it can be to shoot in 110 degree weather in 30% humidity lying on the ground in stinky irrigation would you? But hey, we got the shot--that's all that matters.
This family traveled all the way from Washington state in the middle of August just to get their photos taken. (OK, their dad was coming for a conference anyway but it sounded good right?!) They are an amazing group, very loving and committed to one another. Future supermodels all.
