Coming Soon!
My latest book is due to be released any day now. The title is Photographing Children: Photography Workshop. It is part of a series of books published by Wiley Publishing and conceived by the amazing photographer Robert Farber. Co-authored with Bay Area Children's photographer, Ginny Felch, it was so much work but it will be fun to see the final product. There were many amazing photographers who contributed their work to this book. Just a few are the fabulous Jeff and Julia Woods, Melanie Sikma, Kim Heffington, Lisa Russo, Marianne Drenthe, Laura Cottrill and so many others, I know I'm forgetting some. A big thanks to Ginny and all the great photographers who contributed. Whew! It's done!
So it's available on amazon here.

Wow! Those are some impressive photographers who contributed! I can wait to get my hands on this book! Again, way to go Allison!

Congrats on the book. I didn't realize that this was just published. I am just getting into photography with hopes of one day opening a studio. Of the 10 books I have read thus far, this is the only one that I'm actually READING and plan on re-reading. It's an amazing resource, especially for those of us who have taken a few good pics of families and kids and are ready to thinking about making the leap. What are your other books and do you ever lecture in NYC area???
