Two of my favorite people in the world have birthdays today. One is my sister Ann (she's the second hottie from the left). We call her the "nice" sister because she really is the best of the four sisters. She cares for everyone before she thinks of herself. She doesn't spend her husband into ruin (not that we know anyone who does that--ahem...).
She is the mother of 4 wild boys and they all love and adore their mom. She's a great wife and our family would not be the same without her. Happy Birthday Anna Banana, I love you!
The other birthday is my nephew Jack. (His mom is the hottie 2nd from the R). He is fearless, stubborn and oh-so-sweet. He will walk up to me when I come over, give me a huge hug and say, "Aunt Alley, I MISSED you!" Everyone should have a Jack in their life. Happy 4th Birthday Jackie, I love you!
This little girl became a big sister today. From one oldest sister to another: Hide your favorite toys now, before little sister and mom come home from the hospital, it's never too early....Congratulations Savanna and family!
I'm afraid that when you choose to get married on December 22nd, your wedding might not get blogged until a month later! These 2 were high school sweethearts and the joy of the day wasn't dampened one bit by the freezing cold rain. Congratulations to you both!
To know this family is to love them. Yes, they do have 9 kids (the extra one is a son-in-law) and no, they are not a blended family. All of these kids belong to 2 amazing parents. 2009 saw their oldest daughter married (see here). And tomorrow their oldest boy heads off to the Missionary Training Center before his final destination of serving a 2 year mission in Argentina. Congratulations to Hunter (and condolences to Mom;) It was a gorgeous day to shoot with amazing clouds (rare for AZ) and with the help of the Chimera 7' Octabank--ya baby--the light was good too!
This was the mantra my employees were hearing all day today. Except it was something more along the lines of "Do not let me leave this office today without posting to the blog!" Of course, they are all tucked in their soft little beds and I'm still here at the office--writing a blog post. So it's a New Year and what better way to, belatedly, kick it off than with a sweet, new baby? This is R. Making new discoveries every day. Why didn't anyone tell us that it just doesn't get better than being a baby?
Nobody throws a party like Dan and Kristin Alber of Domestic Bliss Fame. Forget about the economy or any other worries you might have had lately. Hang out with us and help out a great cause, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We can't wait to see ya'll! (did I really say, "ya'll?)
